We will be hosting the Bay Shore North Coast Section Track and Field Championships @ James Logan this Saturday.  They meet will run from 11-4.
Help should arrive at least by 9:30 AM.   We will need help in the following areas listed below:

The MVAL Track and Field Championships started yesterday with the discus at Newark.

Today all Girls Junior Varsity and Boys Frosh/Soph athletes compete in the running events @ TAK starting @ 3:00 PM.  The bus leaves @ 1:00 and there will be a bus coming back after the meet.

Thursday the Varsity Men and Women compete in all running events and 1/2 of the Field events.  The meet starts @ 3:00 and there is a bus bringing students back.  The bus will leave @ 1:00 PM

Friday are the finals for all Field events.  The bus leaves @ 1:00 PM and there will be a bus coming back.  The meet starts @ 3:00 PM

It will be a busy week this week.  I will list the events that  are happening this week below:

1.  Team Picture for the Yearbook-Bring your sweatshirt  and T-Shirt 2.  Booster Club Meeting on Tuesday in the Career Center to discuss final detail for the Top 8.  The meeting will start @ 7:00 PM.  I will send a e-mail each day to update you on the Top 8.
2.  Special Olympics practice 5-6 each Tuesday 4.  Dual meet vs. Irvington on Wednesday.
3. If you can donate food, drinks, snacks for the Snack Bar for Friday, Saturday or for the CYO for Sunday bring them Friday before 2:00 PM or Saturday morning.
4. Please communicate.  We need help for the weekend.

There is NO Booster Club Meeting tonight.  I will inform you of the next meeting. Next week most likely on Tuesday.
There is practice from 10-1 each day this week.  Some athletes have a meet on Friday and Saturday.  There is practice on Friday.
There is NO CYO on Sunday!   There is NO CYO practice this week. Happy Easter.
The next Track and Field meet will be April 18 vs. Irvington.
We will have Special Olympics practice today from 5-6.
Just a reminder the Top 8 is coming up.  We need help, donations or whatever you can help us with.

Sweatshirts and T-Shirts are available to purchase for $30 and $10. Parents have asked why all students are not wearing the same uniform.  They have not purchased the uniform.  We have T-shirts, Sweatshirts and Bottoms available to  be purchased.  The bottoms will take a few weeks.

All students are responsible to contribute $100 to the TEAM.  Please do your part.

We have a dual meet on Wednesday against American.  It will cost $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students.

We need donations for CYO snack bars.  Please help us-Drinks and snack items, hotdogs, hamburgers and buns are items we need!

We have added a meet-Oakland Invitation on March 31 @ Berkeley.  Great place to have a meet on the college campus.

 We need help for the Top 8.  It is our own meet.  April 20, 21.  We run the snack bar,  You can sponsor a event-$100, help in the event areas, help at admissions, sell Top 8 T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and pins.  Please contact me if you can help!

There is a big difference between commitment and participation!!
We should all have commitment for our students.

The official 1st day of Track and Field practice is February 6, 2012.

Your son and daughter needs to have all paperwork in before the 1st day of practice.

If you have a younger son or daughter who is interested in track and field we have the Mission Valley Track and Field Club which will start practice on Jan.17 at the Logan Track form 4:30-6:00.  This is for ages 6 and up.

The students who have been given the 10 fundraising cards the $ is do now!!  There is a bill of $3500 which needs to be paid or students will not get uniforms.
