Mission Valley Track and Field Club, a non-profit organization, that holds practice at James Logan High School in Union City, CA, for young people between 6 and 18 years of age. The goal of the Mission Valley Track and Field Club is to promote life skills, health and well being through the sport of Track and Field. The organization places a great emphasis on at-risk students in our local schools, in our community and in neighboring communities in the area. The organization provides assistance with tutorial help and individual services that will cater to the specific needs of each student-athlete.
As an organization we are committed to teaching young people the fundamentals of track and field, good health, top-notch sportsmanship, teamwork, and individual self-esteem. The experiences these young people gain by participating in our organization will help them succeed in whatever they encounter throughout their lives. All of our coaches and staff are volunteers with one common goal – to help the youth today become greater athletes and individuals. Mission Valley Track and Field Club have won several local, state and national championships. Our goal this year is to reach competition at the national level once, where we will be compete against the top athletes in the country.
