Declining State Revenues to Education has put a burden on High School athletic programs. The value of athletics cannot be overestimated. Students who participate in athletics tend to be better students, they learn lifelong skills that will help them succeed in all areas of their lives such as goal setting, hard work and commitment to their team as well as personal growth.
Coach Webb and the Cross Country and Track and Field teams are committed to keeping the programs affordable for students of all economic means. In order to pay for this enriching program we hold several fundraisers throughout the year. The Christmas Tree Raffle, the Jog-A-Thon and others, such as the Top 8 meet and various 5k and 10k runs like the Turkey Trot every November.
Individuals and Corporations may also donate goods, services and money to support the athletes at James Logan High School.
